Why we DO NOT participate in Black Friday and what our financial strategy is.
Money is a controversial issue, especially when artistic fields are considered. On this blog I try to speak honestly about the realities of running an “artistic” business, because the more people understand that, the better for everyone. As Black Friday, the day of massive discounts, is approaching inevitably, I want to bring out our reasons for which we do not participate in this event. Risomania is the first attempt to comprehensively describe the contemporary Riso scene. The author, John Z. Komurki, focuses on the history and evolution of risograph and reveals what is today in the world most interesting in Riso print.

During my September stay in Berlin I was able to arrange a meeting with John Z. Komurki, author of the book Risomania. We met in his InkWell Studio and talked of course about Riso and the meaning of this technique for the art publishing.
